Plans for a Container Garden

When starting a container garden you have to make a detailed plan of what you are going to grow and exactly where you are going to grow it. This is really important as when growing in a small place you want to be able to grow as much in as little space as possible.

Have too many plants and you will waste them, have to little and you garden will look empty. It’s that simple!

When I am planning my container garden I use a piece of graph paper and draw my garden (or wherever your growing) to scale. I then create a list of what I want to grow and the idea quantities I want to grow them in. Then I begin to draw the plants on the graph paper and continue playing and changing with the design until it is complete.

It’s a really simple technique that you should try and test before starting your container garden.
